BIRDS - NORFOLK'S SCARCER SPECIES

As someone who greatly enjoys bird-watching without being much of a rarity-seeker, I like trying to see, preferably in their natural context, regular but scarcer species (the 'desirable' species of a given site).  Norfolk is of course a county very rich in places and opportunities for this.  My bird photo webpages show examples of my better efforts at capturing these and other species on camera.  There are some outstanding photos of birds on the web, and, though occasionally I get lucky, mine are no match for them.  Any value comes from the beauty and intrinsic interest of the birds themselves and (to me) from having a record of some of the species seen on memorable days out in attractive places.
